Professional plug-patch tire repairs done right — inside-the-tire patches, not just external plugs — right across Bronx. One call, real tech, average on-scene 20–45 minutes.
A real patch is done from the inside of the tire, not a plug jammed in from the outside. Ours is a combination plug-patch: we dismount the tire, buff the inner liner, vulcanize a proper patch with a stem running through the puncture. That's the DOT-accepted method. That's what we do on every patch job.
Bronx patching is frequent because pothole damage is frequent. Good news: most tread punctures we see are squarely in patch territory. We do the real fix — inside patch vulcanized properly — not a quick plug.
We cover Mott Haven, Melrose, Hunts Point, Port Morris, Longwood, Morrisania, Concourse, Highbridge, Morris Heights, Tremont, Fordham, Belmont, Bedford Park, Kingsbridge, Riverdale, Woodlawn, Norwood, Williamsbridge, Wakefield, Baychester, Co-op City, Throgs Neck, Country Club, Pelham Bay, City Island, Castle Hill, Soundview, Parkchester, Morris Park, and Van Nest, plus roadside calls along the Major Deegan Expressway (I-87), the Cross Bronx Expressway (I-95), Bruckner Expressway, Sheridan Expressway, Hutchinson River Parkway, Bronx River Parkway, Grand Concourse, Henry Hudson Parkway, and the approaches to the Triborough (RFK), Whitestone, Throgs Neck, and Willis Avenue bridges. Dispatch routes the closest qualified technician, not the closest anybody — so whoever shows up has the right gear for your actual problem.
Visual inspection plus soap-water if the leak is slow enough to hide.
Pulled off the rim on a portable machine so we can work the inside.
Inner liner cleaned, patched from inside with a plug through the hole.
Remounted, inflated, lug torque checked, you're moving.
The Bronx has the worst pothole reputation in the five boroughs, for good reason — the Cross Bronx, the Major Deegan, and the Bruckner take a beating and pass it straight to your tires. Plus a huge commercial fleet presence in Hunts Point and Port Morris. We dispatch Bronx-side to keep up.
Bronx-based techs who know the streets, the shoulders, and the spots where it's safe to actually work on a vehicle.
Every truck carries plug kits, patch kits, tire inventory, jump packs, replacement batteries, and diagnostic tools. One visit, one fix.
You get a price before we start working. No meter, no surprise charges, no bait-and-switch when the tech arrives.
Live dispatch at 3am, 3pm, Sunday, Christmas Eve, snow day. If the phone rings, someone's picking up and someone's rolling.
External plugs can work short-term but they don't seal the inner liner. Air eventually migrates into the belts and the tire can fail. A proper patch seals from the inside — that's why shops quote it higher and why it's the right fix.
A properly patched tire lasts the remaining life of the tire. We've patched tires that went another 30,000 miles without issue. The patch is not the weak point.
Sidewall punctures, shoulder punctures, anything larger than roughly 1/4", and tires that have already been driven flat long enough to damage the sidewall — those get replaced, not patched. We'll tell you straight.
